Love Emme x Coachella

“If you look to your left, you can see the Coachella music festival beneath us,” informed the pilot, as we made our final descent into Palm Springs.

“You can drop me off right here,” I thought to myself, looking down on the flashing lights, imagining the loads of fun being had a mere 10,000 feet away.

Upon landing in Palm Springs, I grabbed my bag and ran out the door, noticing that half the airport was outdoors, with palm trees lining the hallways. I got into a cab and gave him the direction Love Emme’s Brand Manager, Antoinette Arnold, had texted me earlier. It was a mere five minute ride and I arrived to a sleek vacation home, complete with a pool and deck to relax post flight. As I unpacked, we went over the plans for the following morning, which would be Operation #LoveEmme.

We got up early and drove over to the Coachella grounds to hand out parasols to attendees looking for cover from the California sun. Hey, dancing for 12 hours straight under that hot sun is no joke. The parasols were a hit and we headed back to the city to hit up the Saguaro’s pool party. After grabbing lunch at Rocco’s Electric and getting our hair all chalked up by #Splatchella, we made an appearance at the Desert Gold Pool Party at the Ace Hotel and we were soon running out of parasols. We headed back to the house to freshen up and grab some sushi for dinner before passing out after a long day of Operation #LoveEmme.

On Sunday, we headed over to the mall to get our makeup done at Bobbi Brown and Benefit to look our best for the photo shoot. While our pool accessories were being blown up, the shoot started with product photography. The location couldn’t have been better selected to showcase the amazing selection Love Emme brought for the shoot. As soon as the model, Love Emmebassador Katie, was ready to shine, the real fun began. Love Emme Founder, Andrea Moore and myself played the role of extras while jumping on swans and giant pizzas in the sun. As the sun went down and the shoot wrapped up, we all grabbed our bags and headed over to the festival to see the headliners! We got to Coachella right in time to see Sia’s set! As we waited for Calvin Harris to start we even got to dance along to Flume and his amazing beats. We couldn’t leave without pictures at the iconic Besame Mucho sign but as the music went off, so did our stamina. We headed back to the house to rest up for the trip back the next day and began planning next year’s trip to Coachella!
